The Design Museum - Designs of the Year 2014

Apologies for the blogging drought, but I've been away for a while now enjoying my summer and a well deserved rest, having just had surgery and currently doing an internship. But, sometime last month I had the pleasure of visiting the 'Designs of the Year 2014' exhibition at the Design Museum in London. There were numerous products from innovative vehicles to the Rick Owens Spring/Summer '14 collection:

What If Google Was a Guy? - One of the funniest videos of 2014

With the millions of users Google has worldwide, you can only imagine the kind of questions or topics people give the search giant daily. And it was only a matter of time before someone decided to explore the question: What if Google was a guy? 'CollegeHumor', a very popular comedy website, decided to answer this question with a 'What If Google Was A Guy' YouTube series that has 3 parts so far.

Tokyoflash Kisai Night Vision LED Watch

I'm a big fan of watches and technology, so when I heard about the Kisai Night Vision from Tokyoflash Japan I knew I had to look into it. Tokyoflash are not your usual watch manufacturer. Most, if not all, of their watches on their website have a futuristic/technological design and have been derived from the designs put forward by fans on their design studio blog via what they call the 'Design Challenge'.

App of the Week - Timberman, much more than just chopping a tree

This week's app is another retro style, simply designed app that's very addictive and free! Timberman is another simple app that has won the hearts and thumbs of people worldwide with it's rapid tree chopping action and a wide array of characters at the user's disposal. So, what is the aim of the game? Basically, all you do is continuously chop down a tree...I know that makes the game sound really boring, but trust me it's not.
